Beer Soap made with Local Craft Beer
Crafted from the same great blend of butters and oils that make our standard bars, beer soaps benefit from the use of beer instead of water in the soap making process. Each of these soaps is made with a different craft beer sourced from local breweries here in Southern California.
Blue Gum Eucalyptus has a camphorous, invigorating fragrance, with a hint of earthy, bready aroma from local brown ale.
Angeles Forest IPA
Cedar, pine, and rosemary reflect the dry, woodland fragrance of the local mountains that overlook the LA basin, made local session IPA.
Citrus & Spruce Saison
Simply refreshing, this bright grapefruit blend has just enough spruce to complement the citrus; made with local seasonal saisons.
Coastal Sage Lager
Meant to smell a bit like the sunny coastal mountains, sage, lavender, herbs, and a bit of lemon come together for this scent. Made with local pale lager.
Golden State Hefe
A blend of citrus, lemongrass, and may chang give this a rich aroma with a hint of cedar for depth, made with local hefeweizen.
Hops & Barley Scrub
Fragrance free scrub made with chopped whole hops and crushed barley to exfoliate, with a feint herbal aroma from the botanicals. Made with local India pale ale.
Use the soap, well, like soap. Use it for your face, use it for your hands. Use it all over! Keeping the bar dry between uses will help it last as long as possible, either on a shower rack, soap dish, or other perforated vessel that allows it to breathe on all sides without accumulating standing water. A wash cloth or loofah will further extend the life of the soap by increasing the efficiency of the lather.

What makes beer soap different? It adds some color as well as subtle herb, spice, and malt notes to our soaps along with color. Residual sugars also boost the lather in these soaps build a bit more than our standard bars. Made with rich, moisturizing butters like shea and cocoa sets our soaps apart, creating a harder bar with an extremely creamy lather, while olive oil further contributes to the conditioning properties of the soap. Castor oil builds a phenomenal lather, while coconut oil gives the bar hardness and cleansing power.
