Aftershave, Witch Hazel
Aftershave smells great, but its best use is in cleaning and closing pores to minimize razor burn. It also soothes irritation from the razor and improves circulation to the skin. Packaged in a two ounce amber glass apothecary bottle and made with a base of perfumer's grade alcohol, witch hazel, aloe, and glycerin.
Directions
Splash several drops into your palm and massage onto face directly after shaving. Bottle includes an orifice reducer for judicious use. Always perform a patch test first, may contain allergens for some people. Shake well before each use.
Details
This traditional alcohol-based aftershave acts as an antiseptic to sanitize any razor irritation from a shave. Unpleasant as it may sound, bacteria from any razor and even from the face itself can get into the micro-cuts a razor can cause, and these are the source of the irritation and redness we recognize as razor burn. Alcohol and witch hazel work together as antiseptic and astringent agents to clean and refresh the face, while aloe and glycerin moisturize and soothe the skin.
